“L’Asymétrie de L’Être”
Volume
L’ESADSE - Préparatoire
516m
Saint - Étienne, France.

It is a project that questions the face as a code of identity and recognition, transforming it into a ritual object, like a mask. We are fragments, so I carried out a process of recovery and material collection that allowed me to create an assemblage for each piece.

a= être / e = Espace / m=mase / ψ = reconnaissance totale / ∑ = accumulation,
là où réside la nécessité du temps  / ∆ = le passage du temps

The awareness of being (a) in a space (e) makes us conscious of our mass (m), thus enabling the conception of time (t). As we begin to ask ourselves who we are, the awareness of being increases as determined by time (Δ). Then comes ∑, which allows for a constant sum of time + space; the velocity of time then provides an answer to “Who am I?”, to the consciousness of being (ψ), which symbolically refers to the Greek ψυχή (psyché): the soul or mental activity.

“10 minutes avec
des pages blanches”

India ink on paper
L’ESADSE - Préparatoire
516m
Saint - Étienne, France.

Ten minutes and four small books constitute the result of a multiplicity of stories that, through objects, activate in the viewer the ability to associate and narrate. Each piece functions as a device of evocation: it does not impose a single narrative, but rather opens a space where meaning is constructed from individual experience.

“L'allure d'une journée
avec le temp”

Sculpture
L’ESADSE - Préparatoire
516m
Saint - Étienne, France.

This project started with a simple question: How does time look and feel throughout a day? It features three objects in the face that represent seconds, minutes, and hours, showing how they transform as the day passes.

Play and toys
Painting
MacroFest

Panamá, Ciudad de Panamá.

It was an open call for different artists and designers in Panama City during Macro Fest, where the concept to be represented was play. Through this painting, I explored play in all its forms, highlighting its role in our individual and collective development.

When we understand that play allows us to occupy our time differently, and that creativity and imagination become tangible, play becomes part of us often turning into a universal language and, ultimately, a memory of childhood, since traditionally only children have been allowed to play.
